Tinubu snubs Buhari’s Ramadan Iftar dinner invitation, jets out to Saudi Arabia 

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress and a Presidential hopeful, has left Nigeria for Saudi Arabia, Mouthpiece NGR reports. 

The former governor of Lagos State went for Umrah, the lesser hajj to seek spiritual advice ahead of the general elections in 2023.

He was among those President Muhammadu Buhari had invited to break the Ramadan fast with him on Tuesday. 

Others on the list of guest include former National Chairmen of the APC, John Oyegun and Adams Oshiomhole; former Adamawa State Governor Murtala Nyako as well as former Ogun Governor Olusegun Osoba.

The former interim chairman of the APC Chief Bisi Akande; former Borno Governor Ali Modu-Sheriff; Former Zamfara Governor Ahmed Yerima; Former Sokoto Governor Aliyu Wamako; former Edo Governor Oserheimen Osunbor; former Yobe Governor Bukar Ibrahim; General Muhammed Magoro; Senators Lawal Shuaibu, Aba Aji, Alh. Tijjani Tumsah, Ambassador Fati Bala, Hon. Abubakar Guru and Alhaji Nasiru Danu were also invited.

However, Tinubu would not be available for the invite as he is currently out of the country.
