Ogundoyin @37: Oyo Youth Parliament celebrates Oyo Speaker, called him a quintessential Role-Model

The 2nd Assembly of the Young and vibrant frontline youth-representatives in the State – Oyo State Youth Parliament has described the Young and charismatic Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebowale Edward, Ogundoyin as a quintessential leader and role model on the occasion of his 37th Birthday today February 17, 2024.

In their congratulatory press statement forwarded through the Chief Whip, Joshua Ojo Akin, the Parliament leadership led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Opeyemi Israel Fawole said, “Our Mentor/followers’ relationship with role-model number one and today’s celebrant dates back to the year 2022 during his first term as the leader of the original formation which we are only modelling and trying to measure up to, the legendary Oyo State House of Assembly.”

”Mr. Speaker has been so tolerant towards some of our oliver-twist approaches, he keeps facilitating an enabling environment for us to learn and thrive, the fact which we acknowledge convincingly. We are so proud of his achievement as the number one State law-maker in the State, the acumen which attracts other State Speakers, earning him the highly exhorted seat of the Chairman of the conference of Speaker in the country. Under his humble leadership, we keep growing in knowledge and wisdom of the modus operandi of the State law-making body. We wish for him a long life and prosperity in sound health and wealth.”

You could recalled that the Oyo State Youth Parliament is a Youth Assembly from all the 32 State Constituencies of the State under the tutelage of the State House of Assembly, directly under the State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, a non partisan umbrella body for the State Youths created in Compliance with the United Nations Charter on Youths Development as a platform through which their voices could be heard on government policies that affect them directly.
