Osinbajo finally reacts to Tinubu’s emergence as APC flagbearer

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has congratulated Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flagbearer.

The VP also congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and stakeholders of the ruling party for the successful conduct of the party convention.

The VP revealed that Tinubu had, for many decades, proved to be passionate, patriotic, courageous and determined in the cause of nation-building.

The vice president via a statement on Thursday revealed that Tinubu’s sterling contributions to Nigeria’s democracy distinguishes him.

“His wealth of experience will certainly be critical in our party’s continued efforts to attain a more secure and prosperous Nigeria”, he said.

He said party members are to come together to support and push Tinubu to victory in the 2023 elections.

“We must remain strong and united in pursuing our collective vision as a party towards building a country that can provide a decent life and livelihoods for all our people”, his statement added.
