Oyo Education Commissioner inaugurates committee to overhaul the obsolete joint scheme of work

As part of the Oyo state Government giant stride to uplift the standard of Education, the State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has observed the need for total overhauling of the obsolete Joint Scheme of work for all subjects in the school curriculum to match the current global trend.

This was contained in a statement made available to Mouthpiece NGR on Monday. 

The statement read: The Honourable Commissioner for Education Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye inaugurated Committee set-up to overhaul the obsolete Joint Scheme of work.

Barrister Olaleye at the maiden meeting and inauguration held at the conference room of the ministry charged the committee who are developers and experts on ICT to review the existing scheme to include local contents and practical work and new innovations on ICT like Robotic skills, coding, cyber security and crime among others.

Membership of the committee are Mrs K.T Ladoja Robokits Nig; Prof. Tayo Arulogun LAUTECH, Dr. J.A Awokola and Dr. O.C.Prince-Hector Cornerstone University, others are Mr O.M Ayoade and Mrs.A.F.Ojo Min.of Education, Dr. M.D.Mabayoje AANFE,  Mr. F.A Fasasi TESCOM, Mr. M.O Oyebanjo SUBEB and Mrs. R.O. Ojo BOTAVED.
