The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal, visited Operation Burst operatives at the University College Hospital (UCH) following a tragic accident they were involved in.
Assuring continued government support, Barrister Lawal emphasized the state’s commitment to the welfare of security personnel.
Accompanied by Colonel Oladipo Ajibola, Director-General of Operation Burst, Barrister Lawal stated that the government would ensure the injured operatives receive necessary care to recover fully.
He reiterated Governor Seyi Makinde’s dedication to supporting security personnel, encouraging them to serve dutifully.
The accident occurred during a routine patrol in Maya community, Eruwa, when one of the operational vehicles experienced a tire blowout, resulting in injuries to Corporals O.M Ogunjimi and Adegboye S.
Both are currently receiving medical treatment at UCH Ibadan.”
