Ogbomoso: Hon. Bankole greets chairmen-elect George Ogunlade, Oyedokun Timothy in Oyo LG elections

In the recently concluded Oyo State Local Government elections, Hon Adekunle Bankole extends his heartfelt congratulations to the Chairmen-Elect, George Ogunlade of Ogbomoso North Local Government and Oyedokun Timothy of Ogbomoso South Local Government, both of whom emerged victorious as candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The election, which took place on Saturday, 27th April 2024, saw a decisive outcome with the election of George Ogunlade and Oyedokun Timothy as Chairmen-Elect for their respective local governments.

In his words, Bankole hailed the duo for putting up a worthy political struggle, adding that: “Their success underscores the confidence reposed in them by the electorates and signifies a new chapter in grassroots leadership, especially within the Ogbomoso metropolis.

Hon. Bankole’s congratulatory message highlighted the significance of their victory and praised the duo for their commitment to the ideals of the PDP, emphasizing the importance of progressive leadership in driving development at the grassroots level.

“The emergence of George Ogunlade and Oyedokun Timothy as Chairmen-Elect reflects the democratic aspirations of the people of Ogbomoso North and Ogbomoso South.
