JSS3 kid with 9A begs Gov. Sanwo-Olu, Okowa & Dapo

Please help me pay the school fees I promise to make Governor Sanwo-Olu, Lagos state, and Nigerians proud, said a young boy of 14years who finished His JSS 3 with flying colours, 9A Distinctions in Lagos State Examination Board 2020 basic Education Certificate Examination. But due to the covid 19 pandemic, the father-mother lost all business, couldn’t pay his school fees so the boy is at home.

I promise to pay Back Governor Sanwo-Olu any money he spends in furthering my secondary school education, I believe before I finished

school my dad would have got a good job to continue paying my university fees because am proud of my father, he always stays indoors

now because of shame, all his friends have abandoned him, they all said covid 19 also affected them too that they are all managing.

Lawrence is my name I was sleeping and God spoke to me not to give up on my dreams on what I want to become in future, I saw an old newspaper where I saw Governor of Ogun and Delta State gave people scholarship to people of the poor, I took the paper and showed my

father about it but he snubbed me saying we cannot even see local government chairman not to talk of Governor, more so we are from Lagos State, not Ogun, Delta State.

The young boy said he cried and Cried the mother begged him and assured him that we are children of the highest God, where your father and I as parents couldn’t reach you my son Lawrence will take us there. The child got a little relief and went back to sleep.

Lawrence narrated how it all started, after covid 19 School Resumption the Father call us 4 kids that only my elder sister that is 16years will go to school others should be praying for God to provide money for school fees, we cannot say anything to him, we went to talk to our mummy who also calms us down, my mummy told my father to apply for covid 19 household loan, which my father said we should not believe all that, it is man know man only the rich gets it not for poor people, but we force our daddy to apply which he did in so many programs since last year up till now nothing has happened every day my father gets angry because of no job.

I am a brilliant boy; I was learning to repair Generator, whenever my father goes out in my neighbor’s shop next door in my compound and at the same time artwork drawing am very good at drawing, am even the person repairing our faulty socket and extension wire at home whenever my father is not at home because my father doesn’t want me to torch electric light, I love my father so much but my father did not want to go beg Sanwo-Olu for help because he told us that, the government only help big and rich people and not poor people.

Please help me talk to my father that I saw Governor Sanwo-Olu give House and Car to poor people before and not only the rich as he told us. Please don’t tell me my father is the one that told him all.

The remaining 3 kids have been home for over one year plus now. Please if you can help this little innocent child get across to Sanwo-Olu, Delta and Ogun state Governor please do for a little child that wants to go to school and have no means its demoralize and can push such intelligent Brilliant child to do otherwise the child gave me an email address( [email protected]) that he did not want money only school scholarship. He said I would love to go to Oriwu College boarding school in ikorodu he begged for, and I got his picture from one of his school notebooks, because of his performance in the school his face was used in the school Note Book he leaves in ojota Lagos. Presently with the mum sister where he is selling coke soft drinks.
