WSSCE 2020: Gov. Makinde’s investment in education worth emulation by FG— LEGACY

Former House of Representatives aspirant and member of Oyo State Local Government Service Commission (OSLSC), Hon. John Adisa Oke has re-emphasised the need for federal government to invest in education as pivot to sustainable growth and development in the society.

Oke, who commended Governor Makinde in a statement made available to Mouthpiece NGR on Sunday, said it is imperative for federal government to emulate Oyo state government to compete in the global world.

According to him, “Oyo moves from 26th to 11th position in the last WSSCE 2020 due to Governor Makinde’s massive investment in education.”

He noted that the move would breed talents and be a major force in Nigeria’s pathway to prosperity”.

Oke concluded by urging the federal government to initiate programs and policies that would showcase its potentials while adding value to the citizenry.
