ENDSARS: Soun pledges donation to Jimoh Isiaka family, others

The Soun of Ogbomosho has pledged monetary assistance to the family of Jimoh Isiaka and two other individuals who were killed by security personnel during the EndSARS protests in Ogbomosho with N500,000 each.

The First class monarch also supported those injured during the protests with N250,000 each.

The donation by the monarch was presented to each of those affected individuals by a delegate who paid them courtesy visit.

The delegate include: Baale Pakiotan of Ogbomosoland, Chief Oyetunji Ojo; Baale Abede of Ogbomosoland, Chief Mukaila Adisa Oyedeji; Baale Abaa of Ogbomosoland, Chief John Ayanpoju and Mogaji Gbagun of Soun Ruling House, Prince Oyelami Oyeyiola.

Speaking while commiserating with the family of Jimoh Isiaqa, the representative of the monarch said: “In the name of Almighty God, we were not happy about what happened .That was why we had to go and start begging these young people.

“These youngsters are the future of this town but what happened was beyond our control. We however pray that the Almighty grant you fortitude to bear the loss.”

The other two late individuals whose family received N500,000 each are Moshood Alabi and Ganiyu Taiwo.
