Plateau PDP aspirants writes national Chairman,Inec, others, Reject caretaker composition

In an open letter made available to Mouthpiece NGR on Sunday, the aspirants of People’s Democratic Party, Plateau chapter, has called for a reconstitution of a committee to take charge of the party affairs in the interest of justice, fair play and equity.

The letter reads;

RE-RECONSTITUTION OF PLATEAU STATE PDP EXCO INTO CARETAKER COMMITTEE

Our attention as aspirants to the state executive committee of our party has been drawn to a purpoted letter peddle on social media constituting the present state exco into caretaker committee.

Such beautiful initiatives from your office, if true is view as inappropriate for Plateau state chapter, going by our party Constitution and various actions played by the present state executives committee in factionalising the state chapter and making the party handicap, lacking merit and having bad lock of administrative deficit to serve in the said capacity.

Sir,

All the present state exco have dully purchase forms, filled and return to the National headquarters as contestants to the forth coming state congress, as such making them ineligible to serve as caretaker committee by every standard, constitution of our party, morality and sensibility of our party supporters across the state.

Our party in Plateau state is blessed with charismatic leaders who have integrity and beautiful personality to handle such assignment without bias and with out most professionalism that can be use in building a strong relationship within the state chapter and come up with professional results for unity in the state chapter, not just about occupying state positions.

Our party Constitution and indeed the good will our party enjoys within the state should be nurtured for future purposes.

Such Action is a direct infringement on our party, collective resolve to build a harmonious relationship within the rank and file of the party.

We wish to call for a Reconstitution of a committee to take charge of our party affairs in Plateau state in the interest of justice, fair play and equity.

Your experience of the crises that bedeviled the state chapter in some few months back should be reflected in constituting the caretaker committee to handle the state chapter.

We wish to extend our solidarity with the struggles and efforts of the National headquarters in reorganizing the party at this trying times.
