I’m Afraid of LAUTECH, Parent Cries Out
One of the students’ parent of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH has cried out over what he described as DECEIT by the university management in luring the students back on campus despite the ongoing national Asuu strike.
In a statement made available to MouthpieceNG, the parent who simply identified himself as Mr Emmanuel accused the Union and management for inflicting hardship on the hapless students.
Mr Emmanuel said, “What’s happening now at LAUTECH is seriously pathetic, sending examination notice without lecture, adding penalty without school in operation, this is no more a university.
“Is it because of their salary? or what?. That means there would be lecture after examination. Are there no more union in the university?
“In my life i’ve never seen a university/registrar sending a mail to students portal for such. I am afraid.
Speaking further, “Last time the so called registrar send a resumption notice to students portal, it was later deny.
“Mad person know that there is a national strike, if they want to pull out, let them pull out officially instead of deceiving themselves, not us.
