Return the country to how you met it, before you leave – Activist challenges Buhari

Prof. Suleiman Dansoko, a Kaduna-based activist, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari not to be in hurry to leave office until he regularizes the irregularities he has created in the country.

President Buhari had informed party supporters, who visited him in Daura last week (during Eid Kabir celebration), that governance is not easy and he is eager to relinquish power.

While reacting on Friday, Dansoko, who was formally Head of Department, Bayero University Kano, but now a social activist and political analyst has told President Buhari that if he is feeling the heat, Nigerians are only depending on God’s grace to survive.

He said the president should put the country in the state he met it in 2015 before leaving Aso Rock.

He said there is no father that will reveal to his children that he can no more provide their needs, or that he will run away from home because of hard times.

“Please, Mr. President, we all welcome all your team; bandits attack, killing, hunger, inflation, sickness, unemployment, sacking from Government jobs. But, before you go, do your possible best, to settle them, let them leave before you go. Don’t leave any of your team members behind,” he said.
