MouthpieceNGR has been reporting Nigerian news since December 2018. We follow Oyo State closely, and we cover the national stories that land on everyone's phone by lunchtime.
What We Cover
Politics gets most of our attention. Some days that means the race for Agodi Government House. Other days it is a local government chairman who has gone quiet on a promise. We report both with the same care.
Crime and security, education and health fill much of the rest. LAUTECH, the University of Ibadan and the polytechnics show up in our pages a lot, because readers care about what happens on those campuses. So do the courts and the police.
We also cover religion, sport and entertainment, plus the human stories people forward to their family WhatsApp groups.
How We Work
A story goes up when we can stand behind it. When a claim comes from a campaign or a press release, the story says so, and we quote public officials in their own words.
Mistakes happen. When we make one, we fix the story and add a note saying what changed. If you spot an error, send us the link and we will look at it.
Ads on this site are always labelled Sponsored or Advertisement. Advertisers do not buy coverage, and they do not get to read a story before you do.
