Oke LEGACY Extends Fuel Support To Commercial Motorcyclists In Oriire LGA
The Oke LEGACY fuel-support programme for commercial motorcyclists has been extended to Oriire Local Government Area, making it the third local government in the federal constituency to benefit.
The intervention had earlier been held in Ogbomoso North and Ogbomoso South Local Government Areas.
According to Hon. John Adisa-Oke LEGACY, Ph.D, the initiative is aimed at easing the daily burden faced by okada riders whose motorcycles remain their primary source of livelihood.
“For many of our commercial motorcyclists, their motorcycles are their means of livelihood and the daily source of income with which they support their families. We are pleased to play our part in easing some of the pressure they face in their daily work,” he said.
While in Oriire, Hon. Adisa-Oke also paid a courtesy visit to a party leader, Alhaji Owonikoko, describing the engagement as an opportunity to reconnect and tap from his wealth of experience.
He said the fuel-support scheme reflects a commitment to people-first representation.
“From Ogbomoso North to Ogbomoso South and now Oriire, we continue to show up for our people — supporting livelihoods, strengthening communities and putting people first,” he added.
