Oke LEGACY Safety Training, Fuel Support Continues in Ogbomoso South
The Oke LEGACY Support Network on Friday continued its free safety training and fuel-support programme for commercial motorcyclists in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The programme brought together hundreds of commercial motorcyclists for practical sessions on road safety, responsible riding and compliance with traffic regulations, alongside fuel support to cushion their daily operating costs.
Officials of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) were on ground to engage the riders, providing guidance on safe riding practices, road-user responsibilities and the need to protect themselves, their passengers and other road users.
The event was also attended by the Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, alongside other political leaders.
According to the organisers, the initiative goes beyond fuel support, as motorcycles remain the primary means of livelihood for many riders and their families.
The Oke LEGACY Support Network said the programme will move to Oriire Local Government Area, as it continues the training and fuel support across the three local government areas in the federal constituency.
