Governor declares one-week public holiday to obtain PVCs

The Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has declared Monday to Friday (June 20th to 24th, 2022) as work free week.

This was to ensure that the state’s public and civil servants proceed to their respective places and get their Permanent Voter Cards, (PVC).

The leader of Zamfara State has ordered all public office holders, party officials and traditional monarchs to be in charge of the supervision of the ongoing Voter Registration exercise.

The state’s Commissioner for Information, Hon. Ibrahim Magaji Dosara, has via a statement signed and released in the state capital, Gusau, revealed that everyone who’s above the age of 18 should participate in the exercise, reaffirming that it’s their civic responsibility to perform.

The Governor extended his appeal to the people to partake in the exercise so that they would not complain later.
