Ogbomoso North LG boss distributes motorcycles, fertilizers, stationeries to mark 100 days in office
Hon. Kabir Ayoade Executive chairman of Ogbomoso Local Government has donated materials worth millions of naira for his people.
In his efforts to key into Governor Makinde agendas in making life more meaningful to the people at the grassroots, the Executive Chairman of Ogbomosho North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Kabir Akanji Ayoade has distributed relief materials running into millions of naira for the people of his locality.
Hon. Ayoade speaking at the DC Primary Ogbomosho during the Flagg off event of the distribution exercise commend Governor Seyi Makinde for his style of leadership, stressing that all his agendas are people oriented programs.
Ayoade in his remark said, that the distribution of the relief materials is made possible following the directives from the state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde who ordered all the local government chairmen across the state to earmarked substantial amount of money to key into his agenda which centered on education, agriculture, health and security of lives and properties of our people.
“The wellbeing of our people is our priority, we have emulated this gesture from our Excellency, and we are going to continue with it, the welfare of our people be it youths, adults, market women and men even the widows are very germane to us and we must continue to use our office to support their needs.” Hon. Ayoade said.
Hon Ayoade while distributing the writing materials for students of Public primary and secondary schools across his local government areas also said the program is to mark his hundred days in office as the Executive Chairman of Ogbomosho North Local Government, stressing that the distribution of the writing materials and uniforms is to complement Governor Makinde free education policy by ensuring a hitch-free learning process in the pacesetter state.
Hon. Ayoade who distributed exercise books and other writing materials, as well as uniforms for students further maintained that the distribution exercise is part of efforts to improve the quality of education in the state and also to make learning more conducive for some students whom their parents are less privileged in the society.
“We have to do our best to assist these students to get quality education because they are our future, they are our tomorrows leaders, and materials distributed here today will surely go a long way in making learning more interesting and attractive to them. Hon. Ayoade said.
The Ogbomosho North Local Government Boss also distributed cash and fertilizers running into millions of naira for widows and market women across all the wards in his local government domain as part of his gesture in ameliorating thier sufferings.
He also distributed bikes and communication gadgets to security operatives such as the officers of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC and the local Vigilantes in his local government areas for effective security of lives and properties of his people.
The beneficiaries of the writing materials and school uniforms who spoke with Journalists, Master Kunle Abudu, and Miss Ariyo Olayinka commended Hon. Ayoade for remembering them, they however promised to make good use of the materials given to them.
Also some women who spoke on behalf of the widows and market women applauded the kind gesture of Hon. Ayoade, they discribed his style of governance as a people oriented one.
They also commend Governor Makinde for his style of governance which make it easier for their local government chairman to carry them along with the dividend of democracy being extended to them time to time.
