Again, LAUTECH students receive scholarship

The Alumni association of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso has given N50,000 each to some students with high Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), Mouthpiece NGR reports. 

It was gathered that the beneficiaries received the money on Thursday shortly after a text message notification from the chairman of the scholarship board, Professor Lateef Agbaje. 
Details still sketchy about the number of those that received the money and their departments at the time of filling this reports. 
The scholarship opportunity would be the second tranche from the end of Alumni association offered to students. 
About 20 students under financial crises or les privileged had benefited last year from the scholarship program.   
Speaking with Mouthpiece NGR, a medical student who’s one of the beneficiary thanked Alumni association under the leadership of Hon. Onilede Solomon for the scholarship opportunity.
He said “I’m happy I made the final list at a time I’m struggling to pay my school fees.”
“I’ve already lost hope because I could remember I submitted my result since last year thinking the association won’t do anything about it again. I’m happy they finally reached out to us. 
Another beneficiary added that an invitation has been extended to all beneficiaries to come and fill a document on Monday. 
“We are grateful for this great opportunity, he said!
