Agboworin Celebrates Oyo First Lady, Tamunominini Makinde on Her Birthday
The lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin), has congratulated the First Lady of Oyo State, Mrs Olufunke Tamunominini Makinde, on the occasion of her birthday.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Assistant on New Media, Ibraheem Aremu, Agboworin described the First Lady as a virtuous woman whose humility, grace, and commitment to public service have continued to inspire many across Oyo State. He noted that her support for families and communities has complemented the developmental strides being witnessed in the state.
The federal lawmaker further praised Mrs. Makinde’s passion for uplifting the less privileged, saying her advocacy for women empowerment and child welfare reflects her deep sense of compassion and dedication to humanity. He added that her efforts have positively touched countless lives and strengthened social inclusion across the state.
Agboworin also acknowledged the First Lady’s role as a pillar of support to the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, stating that her encouragement and commitment to worthy causes have contributed significantly to the progress and stability of Oyo State.
The lawmaker, who is the chairman of the House committee on Narcotic Drugs, prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, wisdom, and strength upon the First Lady as she marks another year of fruitful living and impactful service to humanity.
He wished her a joyful birthday celebration and many more years of fulfillment, happiness, and greater accomplishments in service to the people of Oyo State and Nigeria.
