The Founder, ALA Care Foundation, Hon. Oludamilola Oluwole-ALA has joined eminent Nigerians to congratulate the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on his election as the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).
Governor Seyi Makinde’s elevation, according to Hon Oludamilola-ALA is well deserved urging him to work assiduously with the Chairman of the forum and Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulrahmon Abdulrasak for the progress of the country at large.
“If we take a cursory look at Nigeria democracy in the last few years, we will discover that the Nigeria Governors’ Forum is now one of the formidable factors that actually lend its voices on issues affecting their respective states and Nigeria in particular.
“Therefore, the two experienced Governors will surely use their administrative experience and ingenuity to offer necessary advice to the President-Elect in some of his policies and decisions,” ALA said.
Hon Oludamilola-ALA observed that if the Nigeria Governor’s Forum get it right through their policy making, it will strengthen Nigeria’s nascent democracy and renew the hope of the people since civil rule returned in 1999.
Hon Oluwole-ALA also commended Governor Makinde on the successful completion of the Oyo State House in Abuja.
“The commissioning of the Abuja House project came barely 4 days after the successful completion of UK Summit in London targeted at the smooth take off of Omituntun 2.0.”
Hon Oludamilola- ALA wishes Governor Makinde a successful second term praying God to give him the grace to actualise his lofty programmes for Oyo State.
Hon Oludamilola-ALA also appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde for setting up fact-finding/ reconciliation committee on the just concluded 2023 General in Oyo state.
While appreciating the Governor initiative Hon ALA also urged the committee to do thorough findings for process of our dear Party and the state in particular.
