Tinubu shares handshakes with Buhari, Osinbajo after winning APC presidential ticket

The former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has given Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a warm handshake, after clinching the presidential ticket of the party.

MOUTHPIECE NGR had reported that Tinubu has been declared the winner of the presidential primary of the APC, at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Tinubu has clinched the presidential ticket garnering over half of the total votes.

The former Governor of Lagos State has defeated his major contenders, the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo and the former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi.

It was gathered that about 2,322 delegates from across the federation have registered their presence at the Eagles Square to elect the presidential candidate of the party.

Tinubu went to the podium to share warm handshakes with the Commander-in-Chief, Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha.

Tinubu also paused briefly to extend similar gesture to his fellow contender and vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and exchanged a few words.
