Irepo LG Chairman, Olayiwola Swears In New Supers and SAs to Enhance Governance and Party Development
Earlier today, Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, the Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, oversaw the swearing-in ceremony of newly appointed Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants in the council.
The event, held at the council’s headquarters, had the Vice Chairman, Hon. Sunday Olanipekun Oyewole, the Vice Chairman of the Irepo Local Government representing the Chairman to present appointment letters to the appointees.
In his address, Hon. Oyewole expressed gratitude to the Oyo State Governor, HE Engr. Seyi Makinde, his Deputy, Barr. Bayo Lawal, and the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abdulwaheed Soliu Adelabu, for their unwavering support of the council’s initiatives. He urged the new appointees to take their roles seriously, align with their fellow colleagues whom they met at the office, and contribute actively to the development of the party and the local government.
The newly appointed Supervisory Councillors are Abdullahi Sultan and Jonathan Seyi A., while Yusuff AbdulGaniyu and Abdulrazak Moshood were sworn in as Special Assistants to the Chairman.
The Irepo PDP Chairman, Hon Ismail Hassan Odejide (Baade) in his remarks, congratulated the appointees, encouraged them to prioritize the party’s interests and development, support the party financially and offered prayers for their success in their respective roles.
