Eid-el-Kabir: Muftau Open Salawu felicitates with Muslim faithful

The Executive Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Projects Monitoring and the Head of the Projects Monitoring Agency, Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Oyo State and Nigeria as they celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir.

In his congratulatory message, Engr. Salawu emphasized the significance of Eid-el-Kabir as a time of reflection, sacrifice, and unity among Muslims. He highlighted the importance of the festival in fostering communal harmony and reinforcing the values of compassion, generosity, and devotion.

“As we celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Muslim faithful in Oyo State and Nigeria. This festival reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice, selflessness, and obedience to the will of Allah,” Engr. Salawu remarked.

He also commended the Muslim community for their unwavering support and contributions to the development of Oyo State and the nation at large. “Your dedication to the principles of peace, unity, and progress is commendable, and I urge you to continue in this noble path,” he added.

Engr. Salawu called on Muslims to use this period to pray for the peace, stability, and prosperity of Nigeria. He also encouraged them to celebrate responsibly and adhere to the teachings of Islam in their daily lives.

“Eid-el-Kabir is not just a time for celebration but also an opportunity to renew our commitment to the ideals of love, tolerance, and mutual respect. Let us extend a hand of fellowship to our neighbours and contribute to the well-being of our communities,” he advised.

Engr. Muftau Open Salawu wished all Muslim faithful a joyous and fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration, filled with blessings and happiness.
