Your impact transcends Oke-ogun zone— Oyo Deputy Gov congratulates Chief Koleoso

The Deputy Governor of Oyo state, ‘Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has felicitated a former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Chief Michael Koleoso, on the occasion of his 86th birthday.

Barr. Lawal praised Chief Koleoso as a patriotic elder statesman who has made significant contributions to Oyo State’s development while attending a mini party on Tuesday to mark the birthday anniversary.

He equally described Koleoso as a living legend, astute politician and honest man who had a profound influence on the Oke-Ogun zone, especially Saki land, adding that his legacy would live on forever.

Barr. Lawal prayed to God to give the astute politician additional years and good health so he can keep serving the people of the state and Nigeria at large.

Chief Koleosho, the Babalaje of Saki land, however expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Governor for putting up an appearance at his party.

He emphasised that Barr. Lawal is a blessing to the zone describing him as a true Omoluabi of Oke-ogun who has been making everyone proud.

“I am very happy that the Deputy governor attended my party,” Chief Koleoso stated.

“His presence conveys a lot. I am surprised to see him. He has done a great job for Oke-Ogun, and we are quite pleased of him. We have once had an Oke-ogun son who let us down. He never even gave me a visit despite being instrumental becoming Deputy Governor.

“But Barr. Lawal always makes sure I’m okay. He is humble, kind hearted with an excellent character.

“As an elder statesman, I am not affiliated with any political party. But Seyi Makinde is my party. So, I pray God continue to be with him and his Deputy.”
