LG Poll: OYSIEC materials arrive polling units in Kishi as Oyo Deputy Gov, wife set to cast vote 

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission has began distribution of sensitive materials to each polling units across the 33 local government areas in the state. 

Recall that OYSIEC had fixed Saturday, April 27, 2024, for the council’s poll in the state.

Our correspondent who visited the Irepo local government collation center at community grammar school, Ajegunle, confirmed that sensitive materials arrived each polling unit by 9am. 

It was gathered that ward collation officers, returning officers and supervisors have also arrived some local governments in the state. 

While other local governments are still awaiting the arrival of OYSIEC officers, an eyewitness confirmed that voting have commenced in some local governments in Ogbomoso zone. 

As at the time of filling this report, voting have also commenced across wards in the Irepo local government as Oyo Deputy Governor and his wife are set to also exercise their civic right.
