Fubara approves N100,000 as Christmas bonus for civil servants

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has approved the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000) as Christmas bonus for the state’s civil servants on the state payroll.

Warisenibo Joe Johnson, Commissioner for information, confirmed the Christmas bonus to MOUTHPIECE NGR.

Johnson stated that Gov. Fubara gave the approval on Tuesday for immediate implementation to enable the civil servants to have a wonderful yuletide celebration.

The development comes hours after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu brokered eight-point resolutions to end the impassebetween Gov Fubara and the current Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Reacting after the crisis resolution deal, Fubara said there is no price too big to pay for peace to prevail.

“There is no price that will be too big to pay to ensure peace prevails”, he stated.
