‘The royalty in me wouldn’t make me join any confrontation issues’ — Oyo Iyaloja General, Abeo replies critics 

Princess Folashade Abeo, the Iyaloja General of Oyo State, has responded to recent criticism regarding her appointment, emphasizing her commitment to a peaceful and empowering leadership.

In a statement issued on Monday, Princess Folashade Abeo clarified that her appointment as the Iyaloja General of Oyo State followed a rigorous and well-documented process that adhered to due diligence. 

According to her, All Oyo State Obas participated in my coronation, and I received a certificate of office signed by market leaders in the state before the formal coronation conducted by my father, the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III of blessed memory.

Princess Folashade Abeo urged her critics to bring forward any concerns they may have about her candidacy as Iyaloja General of Oyo State to the general public. 

She expressed her dedication to the empowerment and betterment of Oyo Market Traders and her commitment to enhancing their quality of life.

“I wouldn’t desist from empowering, liberating, and giving a good life to the Oyo Market Traders,” Abeo stated.
