….as Mogaji Adanla plays civic reception

AHEAD of the 2023 general elections, Dr. Sheikh Muideen Salimon Hussein, the Chief Imam of Offa Central Mosque and a well-known Muslim cleric in Nigeria, has offered a special prayer for Seyi Makinde, the PDP governorship’s candidate.

The Chief imam, on Friday evening in Ibadan, offered prayers at the home of the Turaki adini of Oyo State, Wakil faido of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta, special adviser on political matters to Yorubaland’s grand khalifa, Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem, Mogaji Adanla, who welcomed him in grand style and with a civic reception.

Governor Makinde, according to Imam Offa, is a very kind man who loves all clerics and has been very, very kind to him since ten years ago, saying that he will continue to pray for his success.

He prayed that God would make his re-election a success and said that anyone who is generous to give offerings or help others will never be disgraced but rather have peace of mind.

He underlined that the governor helped him out when he was in need and backed his efforts to spread Islam, stating that he deserved to be re-elected for his ongoing humanitarian work with the wonderful people of Oyo state.

Later, the cleric praised the Turaki of Oyo State for his gracious hospitality, both at the hotel where he hosted them and at his home, citing his contributions to the growth of Islam in the nation and other good deeds, and he prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to elevate him.
