Shock as 3-storey building collapses in Yaba 

A three-storey building under construction has reportedly collapsed in the Yaba side of Lagos State, on this Saturday, 12th February, 2022.

Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed told Mouthpiece NGR that the building was located in Akanbi Crescent, near the main gate of University of Lagos, UNILAG.

Our correspondent Taoheed gathered that the building collapsed onto a building beside it on Saturday afternoon.

Further details yet to be gathered at the time of filling this report. It was however learnt that  several construction workers in the area who are said to be trapped in the rubbles were being rescued. 

The Director General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu has confirmed the ugly occurrence and promised that something will be done.
