Youths Destroy APC Banners in North Over Unpaid Campaign Fees

There was mild drama at an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign ground in the North after some youths allegedly hired to fill up the crowd destroyed campaign banners and posters over non-payment.

The youths, MOUTHPIECE NIGERIA gathered, claimed they were mobilised for the campaign event with a promise of payment, but the organisers disappeared after the programme without settling them.

In protest, they tore down banners, posters and placards bearing the party’s insignia at the venue.

A video of the incident, which has gone viral on X, shows the aggrieved youths pulling down campaign materials while expressing anger over the alleged breach of agreement.

As of the time of filing this report, the APC chapter in the state is yet to react to the allegation.
