LAUTECH Alumni to hold 15th annual lecture Nov 18

The alumni association, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso is set to hold its 15th annual lecture, tagged: “Addressing the impact of youths unemployment on economy and security in the process of nation building using the right university education approach.”

The lecture is scheduled for Thursday, November 18 by 1pm at the Great Hall, LAUTECH campus, Ogbomoso and to be delivered by the guest speaker, Hon. Dr Oluwole Oke who is the federal lawmaker representing Obokun/Oriade constituency.

President of the associa­tion, Hon. Solomon Onilede, said the event will bring together members of the association to network, reconnect and discuss issues bordering on youth unemployment on economy and security in the process of nation building.

According to Onilede, “The gathering will serve as a re­union of the LAUTECH alumni, as well as an opportunity to address contemporary issues related to youth unemployment.

Other dignitaries expected at the event include Special guest, Engr. Seyi Makinde (Governor of Oyo State); Chief Host, Prof. Mojeed Liasu (VC, LAUTECH); Chief Babajide Bewaji (Chair, Board of Trustees); Host, Hon. Solomon Onilede (Alumni Global President.
