Iftar: Olubadan fetes Aare, Aare-In-Council, Imams

The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji on Sunday feted Aare, Aare-In-Council and Imams for Iftar at his palace. 

Mouthpiece NGR learnt that the Amirul Wasin of Oyo State & Khalefah, Quadriyah In Oyo State, Sheikh Muhiydeen Najimdeen led the gathering in opening prayers.

While Sermon was done by Khalefah Quazim Akilapa which dwell on roles & duties of the King & Leaders In Society- The Islamic Perspective, a sermon that draw tears from the eyes of the Olubadan

Dr Barihi Adetunji, a prince & Grand Mufasir of Ibadanland, on behalf of the Royal family, expressed Appreciation To the visitors

Khalefah Dawud Oluwakemi & Dr Ibrahim Adebolu, Vice Chairman Oyo State Pilgrim Welfare Board(Muslim Wing) made supplications for Ibadan, Olubadan, Oyo State, Government & People, Nigeria!

Aare later thank the Olubadan for inviting and warmly receiving him and his council members while he also gave kudos to the Olubadan & his council members for the peaceful atmosphere in Ibadan. He prayed for good health & long life for the Olubadan & ensuring  peace in Yorubaland _ Nigeria. The Aare counsel all Ummah to continue to be of good conduct & brotherly dispositions to their neighbors even after the end of this Ramadan. Muslims were asked to watch out for the new moon of the month of Shawwal from the evening of Ramadan 29th, 1442A.H i.e Tuesday, 11th May, 2021.

The Olubadan thank the Aare & his council for honouring the Iftar & specially thank the Aare for his many good efforts which the Olubadan said has bn long before he became Aare. The Olubadan further pray for enduring peace, love, growth & greater development of Oyo State & Nigeria!
