Captain Jacob promises transformer at Actor’s naming ceremony (PHOTOS)
Hon. Jacob Ajao, the federal lawmaker representing Ogbomoso South, North and Oriire has promised adunhin community a new transformer to restore the electricity blackout which has over the month thrown the community into total darkness
Ajao made the promise at the naming ceremony of one his staunch supporters who is also a former LAUTECH SUG president, Comrade Lekan Oyerinde popularly known as Actor at Nurudeen primary school, Kuye, Ogbomoso.
He said he will look into the matter of black out in that community and ensure that a brand new transformer is made available by next year.
Hon. Ajao also stated that as part of his efforts to community development, his administration has lighted up Osupa junction to Aje and also assured that he will embark on a massive project that will light up Ogbomoso by 2021 which will cost a whopping sum of N65 million.
In his appreciation, the father of the celebrant, comrade Lekan Oyerinde expressed his profound gratitude to God and those who made the occasion eventful.
He thanked his parents, wife, Hon. Captain Jacob Ajao, and especially those who attended the ceremony which include; Hon. Wasiu Olukan, Mr Biola, the Chief of staff to Hon. Jacob Ajao, Comrade Tfat, LAUTECH Dons Professors Olabiyisi and Adewale, Winners Chapel, Mr Niyi Feyintola, Hon. Otunla Moses (secretary Atisbo LG) and host of others.
Actor, who presented a car gift to his beloved wife equally thanked Hon Wumi Oladeji, Otunba Adebayo Also Akala and all those who were unable to make it to the occasion.
He concluded by charging youth to participate in decision making process for the development of their immediate community.
