BREAKING: LAUTECH: Makinde’s 500 Million Fund Raises Tension

Indications has shown that the recently promised fund by the Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde is yet to drop into the school kitty.
Mouthpiece NG reliably gathered that the 500 millions promised by the Governor during his visit to LAUTECH to appeal resumption of academic activities are yet to be released at the time of filing this report.
Governor Makinde had promised to release the fund after the Unions had agreed to sign MOU to suspend their strikes.
This paper, which is an independent news-outlet however, confirmed that the Unions had since suspended their strike while academic activities still ongoing.
Speaking with our correspondent, a staff who prefer to be anonymous said “the delay in the release of the money is unclear”.
“We had expected the money to be paid before now. We don’t know what’s actually delaying it.
Another staff who had a controversial submission said, “Governor Makinde’s appearance in School seems political.”
“The Governor should by now release the money since he already made his promise public”.
“We thought the money would be released on time as someone we think really have the institution at heart but reverse is the case”.
