Hon. Abdul-Azeez Bashiru Appointed Into APM Campaign Council, Thanks Makinde, Open Salawu

Hon. Abdul-Azeez Bashiru from Ogbomoso North Local Government Area has been appointed into the Oyo State Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Governorship and Presidential Campaign Council.

Bashiru, who was named as a member of the Reconciliation and Contact Committee chaired by Professor Soliu Adelabu, expressed gratitude following his inclusion ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement made available to MOUTHPIECE NIGERIA on Saturday, he thanked Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and the APM deputy governorship candidate, Engr. Open Salawu, for giving him the opportunity to serve.

He also appreciated other leaders of the party for the trust reposed in him.

Bashiru promised to discharge his duties optimally and contribute meaningfully to the success of the party in the forthcoming elections.

“I am deeply honoured by this appointment. I thank Almighty Allah, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, our deputy governorship candidate, Alhaji Muftau Open Salawu, and the entire APM leadership for finding me worthy to serve.

“I assure the party that I will work diligently with other committee members to ensure reconciliation, unity and effective contact across all levels. Together, we will deliver victory for APM in 2027,” he said.

Bashiru, however, called on party members and supporters in Ogbomoso North and across Oyo State to remain united and committed to the APM’s agenda.
