Ona Ara Consensus Leaders Endorse Chairman Dr. Kolapo Temitope Glorious for Second Term

Consensus Leaders in Ona Ara Local Government have unanimously endorsed the Executive Chairman, Dr. Kolapo Temitope Glorious, JP, for another term in office, citing purposeful leadership and visible achievements across the council.

The endorsement was announced on Sunday after a meeting of stakeholders and leaders across the 10 wards of the local government. 

According to the leaders, the decision was not based on political calculations but on a collective assessment of the chairman’s performance and commitment to people-oriented governance.

Since assuming office, Dr. Glorious has overseen what stakeholders described as a remarkable transformation in Ona Ara. 

Key projects highlighted include strategic road construction, renovation of public schools, youth empowerment programmes, and improved infrastructure aimed at directly impacting residents.

One of the flagship projects of the administration is the construction of the Registry and Multi-Purpose Hall. Leaders said the facility, which has drawn commendation from within and outside the council, was designed not only to serve residents but also to generate sustainable revenue for the local government.

Speaking on the endorsement, the Consensus Leaders described Dr. Glorious as more than a politician, noting his background as an administrator, scholar, academic and mentor. 

They said his leadership style, built on discipline, intelligence, creativity and service, has earned him respect within Ona Ara and national recognition as one of Nigeria’s outstanding local government chairmen.

“The endorsement reflects the confidence of stakeholders that continuity will consolidate the progress already achieved. It is a vote of trust in a leader whose actions have spoken louder than promises,” a spokesperson for the leaders said.
