Agboworin Celebrates Safe Return Of Oriire Schoolchildren, Lauds Gov Makinde, Rejoices With Families, Oyo Residents
The member representing Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering commitment and relentless efforts that culminated in the safe release of the schoolchildren abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Agboworin, in a statement issued on Friday by his Media Group, described the development as a moment of great relief and joy for the entire state.
He noted that the governor’s determination, strategic leadership, and collaboration with security agencies played a significant role in ensuring the children’s safe return.
The federal lawmaker congratulated the government and people of Oyo State, particularly the families of the victims, on the successful reunion with their loved ones after days of anxiety and uncertainty.
“This is a victory for the people of Oyo State and a testament to what purposeful leadership and coordinated security efforts can achieve.
“I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the safe release of these innocent children,” Agboworin said.
Agboworin prayed that such a painful incident would never recur in Oyo State or any part of the country, while urging security agencies to remain vigilant and strengthen measures to protect schools and communities from criminal elements.
