Oriire Rescue: Jubril Dotun Sanusi Commends Tinubu, Makinde, Security Agencies, Traditional Institutions and Nigerians

The Okanlomo Oódua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief (Engr.) Dr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Governor Seyi Makinde, the nation’s security agencies, traditional institutions, community leaders, and all Nigerians for their collective efforts that culminated in the successful rescue of the students and teachers abducted at Islamic High School, Esiele, Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Chief Sanusi described the successful rescue operation as a testament to the power of purposeful leadership, effective collaboration, and the unwavering commitment of all stakeholders to safeguarding the lives of Nigerians. He noted that the outcome reinforces the importance of unity, intelligence sharing, and coordinated security efforts in confronting the nation’s security challenges.

He extended his deepest appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his unwavering commitment to the safety and security of every Nigerian, stating that the President’s leadership and steadfast support for security operations continue to inspire confidence and renew hope across the country.

Chief Sanusi also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his dedication to the security of Oyo State, his effective collaboration with the Federal Government, and his sustained engagement with security agencies in addressing the security challenges confronting the state.

He further applauded the gallant officers and personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and all other security agencies for their courage, professionalism, patriotism, resilience, and sacrifices in securing the safe rescue of the victims and in the ongoing fight against insecurity across the nation.

Chief Sanusi equally appreciated His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, the entire traditional institution across Oyo State, religious leaders, community leaders, local hunters, vigilante groups, and other volunteer security outfits whose prayers, vigilance, intelligence-gathering efforts, and grassroots support complemented the work of the conventional security agencies throughout the rescue efforts.

He also expressed heartfelt appreciation to every Nigerian who stood by the affected families through prayers, words of encouragement, and acts of compassion during the period of uncertainty. According to him, such overwhelming solidarity reflects the resilience, compassion, and unity that define the Nigerian spirit.

Chief Sanusi prayed that Almighty God would continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria, grant greater wisdom and strength to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all leaders at every level, protect and empower the nation’s security personnel, preserve the country’s revered traditional institutions, and grant enduring peace, security, unity, and prosperity to Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
