Oyo Deputy Gov commiserates with KPU over Ajala’s death 

Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, mourns the passing of Mr. Rasheed Ajala, a committed member of the Kishi Progressive Union (KPU), who passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026.

In his condolence message, the Deputy Governor expressed shock at the news, emphasizing Ajala’s significant contributions to his hometown’s development. 

He noted the painful timing of the loss, especially as KPU prepares for the Kishi Day celebration.

Barr. Lawal prayed God to grant him eternal rest and grant his family, friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, whilst acknowledging their need for support during this difficult time.
