Sarafadeen Owonikoko Appreciates Gov Makinde, Oriire LG Chairman and Party Leaders Over Appointment, Promises Dedication To Service

The newly appointed Assistant Secretary of Oriire local government – Isiaka Sarafadeen Owonikoko has expressed appreciation to the governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde and party leaders on his appointment.

This was contained in a statement personally signed by him, where he described the appointment as deeply humbling, and he also promised to be dedicated and committed to service given the party’s belief in him, and that he will also give the people his best.

His appointment was welcomed with jubilation by the youth, particularly the Oriire Youth Council which he is chairing based on his track record of performance, resilience, dedication, and hardworking spirit which he is known for.

Also taking Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke – secretary of the Oyo State PDP as point of contact and his Dad – Alhaji Isiaka Owonikoko, he also expressed gratitude for their mentorship and trust to serve and learn further. 

Meanwhile, he specifically applauded the privilege given by the re-elected Council Chairman – Hon. Michael Olateju to serve in his cabinet.

He therefore assured that, in his little capacity, best would be given to humanity, which is a major driver of his political activities even as he promised to work hard, diligently and responsibly with the local government Senior officials to ensure even dispensation of dividends of democracy to every corners of our predominant rural communities. 

He ended by saying “Our focus will always be on uplifting the grassroots and bringing tangible improvements to the lives of our people, I am deeply humbled and grateful for this appointment.”

It would be recalled that Sarafadeen is the serving Chairman, Oriire Youth Council, the Youth Volunteers for the Development Projects of Oriire State Constituency which is one of the ideas and legacies of the member representing the youths at the 2nd Assembly of Oyo State Youth Parliament – Joshua Ojo Akin in the year 2023, with the aim of fostering quality youth participations in government decision making businesses.
