The Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, has expressed optimism that Oyo State will soon emerge as the leading state in pension administration in Nigeria.

Adedoyin made this disclosure in a congratulatory message to the Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. The Majority Leader, who represents Ogbomoso South State Constituency, described the award as a testament to the commitment and administrative efficiency of the Oyo State Government in promoting a sustainable pension system for local government workers and retirees.

He commended Hon. Ige and his team for their outstanding contributions to strengthening pension administration and ensuring improved welfare for retired public servants.

Adedoyin also lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering commitment to workers’ welfare and institutional reforms, noting that the national recognition validates the administration’s people-oriented policies.

“This recognition is a clear indication that Oyo State is making significant progress in pension administration,” he said.

The lawmaker, however, urged the Board to sustain the momentum and expressed optimism that Oyo State would soon become a reference point for effective pension administration in the country.
