BREAKING: Drama as Fubara presents 2024 budget amidst Rivers crisis 

The embattled Governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara has presented 2024 budget of Renewed Hope, Consolidation and Continuity amidst Rivers House of Assembly crisis. 

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that Fubara at the early hour of Wednesday presented N800bn of the 2024 budget to the House led by a factional speaker, Ehie Edison. 

The sitting which is holding at the government house had about 5 lawmakers in attendance. 

Recall that 27 lawmakers loyal to Wike from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP had on Monday defected to All Progressives Congress. 

But on Tuesday, a High Court Sitting in Port Harcourt however confirmed Edison Ehie as the authentic Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Edison Ehie is one of the 4 lawmakers in the camp of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
