Agbarapo expresses gratitude to Gov. Makinde, Deputy over re-appointment
A newly reappointed Special Adviser to Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Legislative Matters, Hon. Samuel Ademola Adejumobi, has expressed his profound gratitude to his boss over his reappointment, describing him as a Talk-and-Do Governor.
He equally thanked the Deputy Governor, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, for his unwavering support and strive towards the actualization of Governor Seyi Makinde’s vision for Oyo state.
Adejumobi, who is popularly known as Agbarapo, gave these remarks on Thursday while paying a Thank-You visit to the office of the Deputy Governor, saying that his reappointment is a call to service as he is ready to do all within his power working with the Governor to ensure that the dividends of democracy is enjoyed by all residents of Oyo state.
He noted that Governor Makinde is a man of his words who rewards loyalty and service, adding that he has never regretted working closely with him.
While commending the Deputy Governor, he maintained that Barr. Lawal’s loyalty to Governor Makinde is reflective of a common attributes among sons and daughters of Oke-ogun, stressing that his leadership qualities and track records particularly while serving as chairman of Housing corporation is commendable.
He prayed that God will continue to preserve the Governor and his Deputy to steer the ship of Oyo state to the desired destination.
However, in his remarks, the Deputy Governor thanked him for coming to show his appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde and urged him to see his appointment as a call to service.
