Oorelope Council Chairman congratulates Makinde, PDP lawmakers-elect
The Chairman of Orelope Local Government area in Igboho, Hon. Akeem Raheem has congratulated Gov. Seyi Makinde and Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, as well as the lawmakers elect under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on their electoral victory.
Raheem, who equally commended the efforts of PDP leaders and members during the Saturday’s election said that Omituntun 2.0 has come to stay.
He assured the people of Igboho and Oyo state at large that Governor Makinde will do more for the people.
The Council boss while congratulating the Governor via a press release issued by his media office and made available to news men on Tuesday stated that: “I Congratulate Gov. Makinde, winner of the March 18th Oyo Gubernatorial polls as announced by INEC.
“The victory is an opportunity for the Governor to do more for the people that n Omituntun 2.0, while also having a rare chance to create lasting legacy behind after 2027.
“Your re-election gives you a golden window of opportunity to further harness the abundant natural and human resources Oyo State is blessed with and waiting to be tapped. I beseech you to dedicate your second term in office to leaving an indelible mark in the sands of time.
“May God guide your steps, protect you, bless you with sound health and wisdom, in your services to our dear State”, he added.
