JUST IN: Another SDP Reps candidate dumps Mulikat, endorses Makinde’s re-election

Again, the re-election bid of Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday received a major boost as the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Ogo-oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Gbodeniyi defected to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to one of his close allies who preferred to be anonymous told MOUTHPIECE NGR that the former chairman in Surulere local governments and the contestant for Ogo-luwa Surulere federal constituency, under SDP has finally dumped Alhaja Mulikat to declare support for Makinde’s re-election.

Recall that Gbodeniyi lost to the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Smato in the last election, who also defeated Hon. Bunvic of All Progressives Congress (APC), seeking a re-election.

Our source disclosed that Mr. Gbodeniyi has begun vigorously campaigning for Governor Makinde’s election after carefully examining each candidate’s background, qualifications, experience, platform, and level of support across the State.

He insisted that his boss is certain that the Governor’s historic accomplishments shouldn’t be sacrificed on the altar of acrimonious politics.

Similarly, Hon. Abede Shittu, the candidate of the Accord party for the House of Representatives, Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, and Orire Federal Constituency, has also officially defected to the Peoples Democratic Party.

Shittu made this known today through his official Facebook page.

He wrote: “I’m not doing Tessy. Kill yourself Insha Allah. Seyi Makinde will complete his second term. Let meet at the poll on Saturday.”
