PHOTONEWS: Oyo deputy gov receives Atiku 

The Deputy governor of Oyo State, Barrister Abdul-raheem Adebayo Lawal on Sunday received the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at the Alakia airport, on behalf of Governor Seyi Makinde, MOUTHPIECE NGR reports.

Lawal, who arrived at the airport around 8am was in company of Special Adviser to Governor Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy matters, Kazeem Adeyinka Bibire and other government functionaries.

However, former deputy governor, Hazeem Gbolarumi as well as Jumoke Akinjide, who are members of the Atiku’s campaign team were also at the airport when the deputy governor received the Party presidential candidate including the PDP National chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, Senator Dino Melaye, among others. 

Atiku was later greeted with cheering crowd while sailing on the long journey to Osun state together with Oyo government entourage for the inauguration of Ademola Adeleke as the new governor of Osun state with large convoys.
