Eid-el-fitr: Oyo majority leader felicitates with constituents, preaches unity, peaceful coexistence 

AS Muslim faithful in Nigeria join the rest of the world to celebrate this year’s Eid-el- fitr, the Oyo majority leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin has rejoiced with Muslims in Oyo State particularly Ogbomoso South on successful completion of the Holy Month, Ramadan. 

In a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, Hon. Sanjo urged Nigerians to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan and the spirit of unity, tolerance for peaceful coexistence.

He emphasized on the need to be united as a nation, saying the country stand to lose a lot if we continue to dwell on what divides us. 

Sanjo particularly urged his constituents not to relent in rededicating themselves to the onerous task of nation-building, urging everyone to put into practice the lesson of Ramadan which is giving out to the less privileged. 

He promised to continue to strive hard to bring government closer to his people through empowerment and other ways to see to their welfare. 

“Eid-el-fitr is the marking of the end of the thirty days of fasting, abstinence, devotion and spiritual rebirth in the Holy month of Ramadan.”

“I pray we live long to witness many more on earth as we join millions of Nigerians and other brethren across the globe to mark the 2022 Eid-el-Fitr (Sallah) celebration.”

“Let’s keep supporting Governor Seyi Makinde’s led administration for continuous development”, he said.
