17-year-old becomes Chartered accountant at Triumph

Ojo Jonathan, a 17-year old school certificate holder is being touted as the youngest Nigerian to have been certified as a Chattered accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria, Mouthpiece NGR reports. 

Solomon who was born in the year 2005 was able to attain the feat after enrolling at Triumph Dynamic Professionals Training Hub in May 2019, Ibadan.  

Speaking with Mouthpiece NGR on Thursday, CEO of the Centre, Mr Ayuba Qadr FCA recounted how he was brought to Triumph Dynamic Professionals Training Hub in May 2019, looking so tiny and fragile.

“Many people doubted his ability to cope with ICAN rigors but his father had strong confidence in him that all my persuasion to discourage him from being registered was entering his deaf ears”, said the CEO. 

He added that Jonathan wrote ATS 1 examination in September 2019 and passed all the four papers. He moved to ATS 2 and sat for the examination in March 2020 before COVID-19 lockdown. 

It was gathered that Jonathan cleared all the four papers when the result was released and passed ATS 3 in September 2020 Diet and became AAT at the age of 16.
