Just In: Repete resigns as boss emerges APC deputy national chairman
Indications has emerged that the APC National Deputy Youth leader, Bolaji Afeez Repete has resigned his position to pave way for his boss, Abiola Ajimobi as the party deputy national South chairman.
Repete who contested for the juicy position prior to the 2019 general elections resigned to make public his loyalty to the former governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi who appointed him as special assistant on youth and sport matters during his administration.
Mouthpiece NGR learnt Ajimobi appointment was reached at Tuesday’s caucus meeting of the southwest APC which held in Osogbo.
This follows the appointment of Adebayo as minister in the administration of the Muhammadu Buhari.
Repete who confirmed his resignation letter to our reporter would become a special adviser to Ajimobi which is the only position attached to the office of deputy national chairman. While Ekiti state caucus is expected to nominate a replacement for the position of deputy national youth leader which he is vacating.
