BREAKING: More than 10 Feared Dead In Osun Ghastly Motor Accident (photos)
Reports reaching Mouthpiece NGR news room says more than 10 people have lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident on Sunday morning in Eripa, Osun state.
It was gathered that the victims were returning from the annual Oke Maria pilgrimage in Otan Ayegabju in a bus belonging to SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lagere, Ile-Ife.
Mouthpiece NGR learnt the bus suddenly lost control and ran into a fence at the other side of Iree- Eripa-Otan-Ayegbaju-Ila Expressway causing the vehicle to fall in a pit.
An eyewitness who spoke to our reporter said “the Federal Road safety commission (FRSC) have arrived the scene and were seen bringing the accident victims out from the bus with the help of residents.”
“More than 10 people have been confirmed dead with passers by languishing in agony and shock of the number of causalities involved”.
The source further revealed that the annual pilgrimage was held on Saturday where thousands of worshippers gathered for prayers at the Oke Maria mountain located in Otan Ayegbaju.
